Jake Nachmani is an associate in the New York office where he represents institutional investors pursuing complex securities and investment-related claims.

Jake Nachmani is an associate at BFA’s New York office where he prosecutes complex securities and investment-related claims on behalf of the firm’s institutional clients.  Jake is currently the lead associate on the team prosecuting claims against generic pharmaceutical manufacturer Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. in connection with the pharmaceutical manufacturer’s pricing of its generic drugs.

Prior to joining BFA, Jake was an associate at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP, where he prosecuted securities fraud, corporate governance and shareholder rights litigation. There he was a member of the litigation team representing a class of investors in the securities litigation against General Motors arising from the auto manufacturer’s recall of millions of vehicles with defective ignition switches, and helped recover $300 million for investors – the second largest securities class action recovery in the Sixth Circuit. He was also a member of the team representing a class of investors against Wilmington Trust Corporation, an action whose settlement of over $200 million is awaiting preliminary approval by the United States District Court for the District of Delaware
