BFA is investigating reports that Ford Motor Company misrepresented fuel economy ratings for a wide range of vehicles, including the Ford Ranger and the F-150 model years 2017 to 2019. Ford reported that in September 2018 a group of employees raised concerns regarding the analytical modeling that is part of Ford's fuel economy and emissions compliance process. Ford has stated that it is investigating the process for certifying vehicles to meet U.S. fuel-economy standards. The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation over Ford's emissions and fuel economy certification process.

BFA has recovered billions of dollars for automotive consumers in significant cases, including the landmark Volkswagen Diesel Emissions case and more recently the case against Fiat Chrysler, which recovered more than $300 million for consumers.

If you are a registered owner of a Ford Ranger or F-150 model years 2017 to 2019, and have concerns about the fuel economy rating of your vehicle, we welcome the chance to talk to you about your legal rights. The information you provide will help us hold Ford accountable.
