Peter Cirka is an associate at BFA. He represents investors in class action and derivative breach of fiduciary duty litigation.
Prior to joining BFA, Peter spent over five years as an associate at a prominent boutique firm that specializes in high-stakes litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery where he gained experience in all aspects of corporate and commercial litigation. A regular member of trial teams, he examined witnesses at trial, took and defended numerous depositions, and played a leading role in drafting dispositive motions and pre- and post-trial briefs.
Peter received his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as a Senior Legal Writing Fellow. Before law school, Peter had a successful career as a classical pianist based in the greater Boston area where he completed a doctoral degree at Boston University, taught at the college and high school levels, and published and presented on topics in piano pedagogy.
