On August 13, 2026, Judge Valerie E. Caproni in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York appointed BFA’s client the City Pension Fund for Firefighters and Police Officers in the City of Tampa as Lead Plaintiff and BFA as Co-Lead Counsel in the securities class action against Badger Meter, Inc. The action alleges that Badger Meter misrepresented the drivers of its financial results, demand for the Company’s products, and its prospects for continued growth. The action further alleges that Badger Meter concealed the decline in its business by pulling forward customer orders from future periods.
