Course access to this comprehensive program begins October 2, 2025. Taught by some of the nation’s preeminent Article III judges, academics, and practitioners, it offers a survey of the fundamentals of multidistrict litigation (MDLs), equipping participants with practical insight into the lifecycle and management of complex aggregate litigation, which constitutes the majority of civil cases filed in federal court.
The course includes eight learning modules, presenting a balanced range of perspectives from both sides of the “v.” The program embodies the vision of the late Duke Law professor Francis McGovern, a pioneering figure in MDL law. Participants will gain the subject matter knowledge needed to confidently engage in MDLs and pursue leadership roles within them. BFA partner Lesley Weaver joins this stellar faculty in one of the learning modules.
