BFA is Lead Counsel for Court-appointed Lead Plaintiff Dhruv Postiwala and named Plaintiff Jodi Yost in this class action lawsuit for violations of the federal securities laws against Ardent Health, Inc. ("Ardent Health" or the "Company") and certain of the Company's senior executives. The complaint asserts claims under Sections 11 and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 on behalf of investors in Ardent securities between July 18, 2024 and November 12, 2025 inclusive (the "Class Period").
In connection with Ardent’s July 2024 IPO, Defendants allegedly made materially false and misleading statements in the Company’s Registration Statement concerning Ardent’s quality of care and safety, despite safety and quality failures at multiple Ardent-owned hospitals that caused patient injuries and deaths. The Registration Statement also contained misstatements about Ardent's accounts receivable and omitted known, material trends and uncertainties relating to Ardent’s increasing payor denials and material, undisclosed liability for patient injuries and deaths.
As alleged, after the IPO, Defendants continued to mislead investors, including with further misstatements about Ardent’s safety and quality, accounts receivable, payor denials, and professional fees, while issuing and re-affirming aggressive earnings guidance.
When the truth emerged, Ardent’s share price declined nearly 34%.
BFA was appointed Lead Counsel on June 26, 2026 and filed an Amended Complaint on August 12, 2026. The Court set a briefing schedule for Defendants’ anticipated motion to dismiss, which will be fully briefed on December 11, 2026.
