Katherine (Kasey) Sullivan

Kasey brings over two decades of experience in business and employment litigation and e-discovery to BFA. She currently works on legal and fact research and discovery matters in the In re Google Generative AI Copyright Litigation, In re Local TV Advertising Antitrust Litigation, White v. Samsung Electronics America, Inc., and In re Bank of America Unauthorized Account Opening Litigation, among others. She collaborates with the Oakland office team to develop new cases involving antitrust, consumer rights, and privacy rights and conducts outreach to prospective clients. She was a member of the team working on the recently resolved In re: Facebook, Inc. Consumer Privacy User Profile Litigation, which resulted in a $725 million settlement, the largest recovery in a data privacy class action to date, and In re Google RTB Consumer Privacy Litigation, for which a groundbreaking settlement was recently announced and is pending approval.

Kasey earned her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, where she worked at the Bluhm Legal Clinic on cases involving special education, juvenile justice, and asylum for unaccompanied minors. She is admitted to practice in California.
